Shop around to atleast 5 different airlines and you will always find a cheaper price. Sometimes there are even promotions, The sooner you book the cheaper.

But $300 round trip per passenger does sound about right to me…

At the beginning the cops were chasing him (so it looked like) haha. And I got those same safety glasses!

you should book as far in advance as possible. the reason dates close to today may look cheaper is that this might not be a popular time for that flight. to cut through the deals, you should check out http://www.travelcuse.com to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!

For group travel, if you can get away with it, I recommend using Companion Airfare vouchers.

You basically buy 1 regular price ticket & get the 2nd ticket free for your companion. Sometimes those travel centers get fussy if you spell out for them that it's for group travel, but if each person only books a flight with one other person & doesn't wear matching t shirts when they check in, you could save a ton of $!

If you look online you can find them – here is one site I know that offers them – they might have a good hotel deal in Houston too, I don't know all the locations they offer – good luck!

Transport Gear or Sports Gear etc. Gear is a pretty broad term however is he being paid or not i don’t know. I agree with you on the more knife reviews thing.

However i would like to see more gun reviews other than AR’s or Ak’s like for example on the G3 but it is his channel if you don’t like what’s on it find another one.

as for knife reviews he probably will have more coming i would like to see him review the Busse Battlemistress however.

  • daddad77 says:

klasco1991.. this is hardly a “gear review”
and what sort of “gear” does this thing classify as?
wonder how much the manufacturers of that thing are paying him? :D

Hey nutnfancy, I’ve been in Europe for the past 2 months with my Xootr and it has been great. I’ve seen much more of Europe than I would have without it. It doesn’t work so well on the many cobblestone and brick streets though. However, it has bitten the dust. The steerer tube behind the front wheel has cracked and separated. I got 1 more week left in and no its 10 lbs of dead weight. Given that you ride your Xootr so much and so hard, I’m surprised you haven’t had the same problem.

I used something called a “mini-velo” in europe. It was produced by Masi. In essence a road bike with 20″ wheels and different geometry to accomadate a normal riding position. Flying was very simple. I removed the bars wheels and protected the drop outs pedals requiring about 10 minutes. I told the airline it was a wheelchair. Bike is maybe 20% slower than my specialized allez road bike.

http://www.orbitz.com will show you the cheapest airfare no matter where your departure and destination are.

  • deroark says:

Are you carrying all the time?

  • farecast.com is the best for me because it compares several airlines, times, number of stops, etc. It also has a historical fare predictor which pretty accurately will tell you when to buy or wait due to fluctuations in ticket prices.

Well I just went on travelocity.com for you. As for weekend deals, say next weekend, there's a lot of "Last Minute Packages" available. To go somewhere here in the country..domestic vacations are 200-300 per person for the whole package. Or if you wanna leave the country and go to either Europe or the Caribbean, its like 600-800 per person for the weekend.
