You have every right to question her. Her actions were adulterous. She cannot blame you for her actions and tried to use that you make you feel bad. Well, don't because she has no reason to cheat other than just wanting to and allowing herself to lust after another man. Tell her the next time she brings up his name that you will pack her bags and take you to him personally because you will not tolerate such disrespect to you, your home, your children or this marriage. That is the bottom line. She wants to be free then she can go but the house and kids stay with you. She is being selfish and should try to work on your marriage together by becoming better partners rather than her playing the blame game. Tell her enough is enough and you are tired. You do not and will not put up with this anymore. You love her but love yourself and those kids more and will not drag your family through this. You made the right decision because you love her but know it is not worth her bringing you home a disease or further heart ache. The next time she brings up his name don't say anything. Turn away get a couple of brief cases or trash bags and just start packing her things. Marriage is a foundation of trust, love, honesty, integrity and respect and if she cannot give that and has to bring up his name I would assume she has slept with him and she should move on. That is the bottom line. You did the right thing. Just stay strong and stand firm. It depends on the dog. We had one that we could board and one that we couldn't. He just 'shut down.' We had to cut our vacation short that year because the dog would not eat, drink, or anything. The guy at the kennel was great and phoned us (before cellphones, this was quite a feat, but he did it) and we came home early.
Our next dog was no problem in the kennel. He was always extra-glad when we got him back, but he didn't mind being boarded for awhile.
Give your fur-baby a trial run of a night in a boarding kennel. See how it goes. If he can handle it, use the kennel your brother recommends. Some dogs have no trouble at all with places like that. Yours may well be one of them, but you'll never know if you don't try it out.
Wow, that sounds like a soap opera plot. I'm sorry for you. The only thing you can do is hope your husband is willing to work on it. Be completely honest with him and tell him you still want him. Go to counseling at least for yourself to figure out why you let this happen.

We did get one for the weekend after graduation, right before we shipped out.
Best bet, cancel your trip and plan on graduation. I know my OSUT was 18 weeks, and it sucked, but was the best thing I've ever done

NY is the city that never sleeps even on Christmas day. The stores are opened on the 24th but not sure on the 25th. Restaurants are opened as well. Most of people spend christmas with family so you won't see many people out at night except for foreigners. On the 26th everything goes back to normal in the city.
