You don’t have to worry about getting access to dirt cheap flights anymore. There’s no need for you to break the bank either! Right now, I’m giving away 3 helpful tips on how you can make the most of your hard earned money!

Dirt cheap flights are not that difficult to avail of. Reading this article right now already gets you one step further to scoring the cheapest plane tickets to your dream destination! Here are 3 ways you can get yourself on that plane without having to get dirty yourself!

Dirt Cheap Flights Tip 1: Check for seat sales.

Contrary to popular belief, airlines don’t always get a full booking. It only seems that way in the movies. To help fill out all the seats, airlines work with various consolidators. These consolidators then go on to sell these seats for a much lower price. So, keep your eyes and ears open for such sales!

Dirt Cheap Flights Tip 2: Book round trip tickets.

A lot of airlines actually offer cheaper fares to those who reserve round trip rather than those who only buy single trip tickets. Besides, it minimizes the hassle of having to conduct another ticket purchase!

Dirt Cheap Flights Tip 3: Book flights early.

This is the cardinal rule when it comes to very cheap airfare. It’s always important to book your flight early. If you book your trip around 21 days before the flight, you’ll be getting the best deals. However, if you wait until two weeks before the flight, you can bet it’s going to be more expensive.

Everyone loves a good bargain. And these dirt cheap flights don’t get any better than this. All you have to do is be more observant and sensitive to news about airlines, book round trip tickets and book flights early!

Shop around to atleast 5 different airlines and you will always find a cheaper price. Sometimes there are even promotions, The sooner you book the cheaper.

But $300 round trip per passenger does sound about right to me…

you should book as far in advance as possible. the reason dates close to today may look cheaper is that this might not be a popular time for that flight. to cut through the deals, you should check out http://www.travelcuse.com to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!

  • farecast.com is the best for me because it compares several airlines, times, number of stops, etc. It also has a historical fare predictor which pretty accurately will tell you when to buy or wait due to fluctuations in ticket prices.

Well I just went on travelocity.com for you. As for weekend deals, say next weekend, there's a lot of "Last Minute Packages" available. To go somewhere here in the country..domestic vacations are 200-300 per person for the whole package. Or if you wanna leave the country and go to either Europe or the Caribbean, its like 600-800 per person for the weekend.

For group travel, if you can get away with it, I recommend using Companion Airfare vouchers.

You basically buy 1 regular price ticket & get the 2nd ticket free for your companion. Sometimes those travel centers get fussy if you spell out for them that it's for group travel, but if each person only books a flight with one other person & doesn't wear matching t shirts when they check in, you could save a ton of $!

If you look online you can find them – here is one site I know that offers them – they might have a good hotel deal in Houston too, I don't know all the locations they offer – good luck!
